Each time I play Arosa I have a sound loop (Xbox one X) in the loco.
Playing with this sound + poor graphics (even the rocks next to the train are just a blurred texture) makes me wonder if Rivet even tried playing their game once.

The "looping sound" is out of Rivet Games control (it's an Dovetail issue).
Consoles don't handle the TSW sounds very well...

I thought it only happens on Xbox consoles. It has been said the audio is fine until the Xbox processes it. On Arosa Line the issue happens more for me.

    I don't remember this issue in TSW2020.

By sound loops do you mean the annoying clicking sound that develops as you go along the route? If so, the only work around I have been able to figure out to save my sanity is to pause, go to settings, and set SFX volume to zero, save settings, then re-up the level back to 100 and save settings again. The engine will sound normal again for a while until this process unfortunately has to be repeated.
