I rode RE50, I think it's 16522 with Talent 2, although I have the faults turned off, so I solved 3x stuck doors and about 4x something with power and Sifa, reset power to Idle and then continue, something ....... and when I arrived at Leipzig Hbf at about 17:00, 10 minutes later, I noticed on 2Dmap that the other two entering lines to Leipzig and also the S-Bahn lines were clogged with about 10 trains, but also the train that was supposed to enter Hbf tief, I think the S-Bahn line had a red one, etc ....... I have no idea how it happened ...... it didn't affect my ride, but it was strange

It might be, but in real life the train would couple first before opening the doors.

I noticed some errors with the temporarily reduced track speed signs/signals on Dresden-Leipzig (probably all german routes that allow this feature). Before I start I apologize for being very strict but irl I'm a train operator and this just bugs me lol.

The german rules and regulations for signals put the signs/signals for temporarily reduced track speed at Lf1, Lf1/2, Lf2 and Lf3.
The signal Lf1 "Langsamfahrscheibe" announces a upcoming reduced speed. The signal looks a lot like the normal track speed sign Lf6 but has some little differences.
The following 3 pictures depict the signal Lf1, used for the announcement of temporarily reduced track speed:
    Lf1 Day.jpg
Above is Lf1 during the day. The two grey circles are turned off lights that are used for nighttime. The right one is used when there is reduced space on the track. Normally you'd see the left version.
    Lf1 Night.jpg
Above is Lf1 during the night. The two yellow circles are lights that are flashing or steadily burning. Same as the day version, the right one is used on tracks with reduced space.
    Lf1 directions.jpg
Above shown is the Lf1 with a direction arrow if the there is a switch before the section with reduced speed starts so the train operator knows if the signal regards him. For example, the arrow is pointing to the right, so if you'd drive to the left past a switch, the reduced speed doesn't concern you.

The rules and regulations give another signal called Lf1/2 which announces the reduced speed and marks the start of the reduced speed section. This signal is normally used on tracks/lines where track speed is already rather slow so you'd be able to see the sign and slow down before reaching it. Since the forum doesn't allow more then 5 pictures per post I might make a second post with a attached picture.

Up next is the signal Lf2 "Anfangsscheibe" which marks the beginning of the section with reduced speed. The A stands for the german word "Anfang" which means "beginning".
    Lf2.jpg

The last signal is the Lf3 "Endscheibe" which marks the end of the section with reduced speed. Once your entire train has past this signal you may accelerate to the normal track speed.
    Lf3.jpg

I wanted to post this since the signals where mixed up in their order. I encountered two of these reduced track speed sections where the first one had the Lf2 "Anfangscheibe" to mark the beginning and the end of the section and the second time the Lf3 marked the start and the Lf2 marked the end. Both are obviously wrong. I hope that DTG will fix this issue and hopefully add the yellow lights to the Lf1. dtg_jan

Sorry for my english, I hope it isn't too bad :|

Yes it is the same Leipzig. I don't know why there is no route hopping. I could guess it's because rapid transit has two different timetables.

Now completed a run to Leipzig and, well yes, it was not that exciting. Riesa to Leipzig pretty much a 20 minute dash in the ICE through bland flat scenery. Though to be fair what I expected after playing the TSC version. Convinced there were better candidates for extension - RSN perhaps, or Maintalbahn.

Oh on the subject of Maintalbahn, nice one DTG - your end of run summary at the end of my drive from Dresden to Leipzig seems to think I've just finished a run on Maintalbahn... About time this nonsense was sorted out.

One more thing, from what I can tell driving the ICE (with windows open) not only did the route builder not bother adding reverb to the existing section, they decided to go for symmetry by not bothering with the new bit either. Not bad for 1/3 of £58, eh?!

Anfang and Ende seem to be OK from Dresden to Leipzig
They are switched from Leipzig to Dresden.
Makes me think the signs are calculated with Dresden as point of origin

I'm just throwing this in here, even though it's not directly about the route. 20251004_005027.jpg
I captured this image during a night shift. It shows the signals Lf2, Lf6, and Lf7. Essentially, you can see the following:
Signal Lf7 indicates a fixed line speed of 80 km/h (previously, the speed limit was 100 km/h). This 80 km/h applies to both directions of travel at the signal. Behind it, you can see a signal Lf6, which indicates a speed of 70 km/h. However, this announcement only applies when you cross the switch to the left. If you turn right, it does not affect the train. Directly below the signal Lf6 is a signal Lf2, which also indicates a temporarily reduced speed from the signal onwards only for the line branching to the left.

German signaling almost at it's best :)

    Hi
How do you know which way you will be routed ? As I noticed the German signal system doesn’t have the feather type signal like in the UK , indicating route direction. Or is it just route knowledge ?

Doing a guard service on the Dosto (Dresden Hbf to Dresden Neustadt) I found several issues with it:
    • Sometimes the check ticket icon just floats over an empty chair
    • 3 tickets to check, only 2 icons found
    • The procedure for departure doesn't always have the right steps: sometimes the 'inhibit door' task doesn't appear.
    • At Dresden Hbf platform 13, you can't get out onto the platform. You get stuck in the doorway, which can only be solved by crouching
    • Various clipping/collision issues when walking through the carriage
    Playing on PS5

The train faults still occurring despite them being turned off is really starting to irk me and ruin enjoyment of this route.
