Route Bahnstrecke Nürnberg - Würzburg - Feedback Thread

After today’s update on the Xbox SX, I launched the ‘Nuremberg–Würzburg’ route and immediately got an ‘out of memory’ error as it was starting.

Around Fürth Hbf, my FPS suddenly drops to 8 and the game starts stuttering extremely badly. Overall, I get around 40–60 FPS on Epic settings on the route, but in this particular area it suddenly drops to 8 FPS. I don’t know if other people are experiencing the same issue or if it’s just me, but it’s basically unplayable this area. In the screenshot, I drew a line showing where the FPS drop starts.

 

Is it me or the ICE4 doesn't have the typical lzb "beep" sound ? I don't think thats prototypical. On a side note I hope that they soon add the missing sounds to the brake lever, right now is impossible to understand in which step of braking you are without looking .

I would like to say that the RE 30,31,33 services with BR 612 still do not appear in Nürnberg in my game, they are still delayed forever. The layer is active and the 612 is working fine in Würzburg RE7 ai. As I have seen in a video that these trains do appear, I would assume that this layer is not only connected to Tharandter Rampe but also to something else. I don't have Nürnberg-Ingolstadt yet, the youtubers probably do. So maybe here is the bug. Of course also tested with zero mods.

 

I seem to have problems on two main issues:

The first one being the LZB and the transfer to PZB. Last weekend I did two attempts, one with the ICE 3 and the other one with the ICE T. On both occasions the LZB Ende light will flash and one has to confirm with PZB Frei and PZB Wachsam. Normally after 500 meters the sound will come on once more and one has to confirm once again with PZB Wachsam. Doing this will off the sound. Not in this case, it continued for some time, with the ICE 3 coming to a complete stop, while the T would've made it to its destination. Parallel the Haltebremse activated and attempts to release caused the circuit to pop and the Stromabnehmer to fall. Any attempts to raise it failed. Trying a complete reboot caused a derail in one case. This happened on services to Wurzburg, just after I phoned, where the LZB stretch ends.

The second factor I noticed are continous jams due to AI. So I looked closer into it and realised that opposite to my real life experience the freight trains would continue on the mainline. Normally the freight service will wait for the ICE services to depart either Wurzburg or Nuremberg, in this case just before Furth Hauptbahnhof, before entering the mainline tracks. Should they be delayed or for any other reasons on the same track as the ICE or RE, they would be pulled aside at places like Emskirchen, Kitzingen, Dettelbach, Iphofen etc, to the so called Ueberholgleis and await the passing of the abovementioned. Is there no chance to alter the preset routes for the freight services, RB, S-Bahn and in some cases RE to do the same in the sim? In real life that's how it normally works and that is why opposed to the sim there's no jam or need to delete train services.

In the included ICE train with the route, SIFA was on by default even though in the game settings I have SIFA off by default. PZB is on bt default correctly as I've set it.

 

Issues noted since yesterday's update:
・The interior announcement volume on the BR442 is too low compared to other trains (it needs to be louder).
・When driving a freight train from Fürth to Nuremberg RBF, noticeable stuttering (FPS fluctuations) occurs along the route between the two stations and within the stations themselves.
Please fix this.
