Brakes appear to have been changed in bakerloo since the update. Meaning that you’re constantly running late when using the above ground section due to higher speed.

seems the brakes have been spread into the EP
Notches so instead of using brake notch 1-4,
Notch 1-6 is now used (5&6 are for EP brakes, off by default).

I seen in the streams that bakerloo is getting rush hour upgrades for BML release - could be worth checking this ticket I’ve raised for bakerloo for PS5 in case its an easy fix

Thanks for the ping. The changes made to the Bakerloo Line 1972stock brakes were intentional and based on feedback from the community. This is the full list of changes that went into the update:

-Compressor Logic improved, compressor should correctly turn off when isolated and should not run away.
-Safety valve fitted to Main reservoir, pressure should no longer be able to exceed 7.2 bar if compressor did happen to run away.
-Replaced retainer valves with EP valves.
-Improved stability of brake feed valve.
-Reduced rate at which BP can be charged.
-Increased application rate of Westinghouse brake.
-Improved reliability of EP brakes, Retarder can now correctly control the EP hold valve allowing the EP brake to correctly release.
-EP hold valve will remain closed in Lap/Service/EP position so brake isn't lost incorrectly if positions are accidentally selected.
-Emergency application will also trigger EP application.
-Blowdown retarder updated and limits max braking rate to 1.34ms-2.
-Safety valve updated and limits BC pressure to 55psi.
-Braking Retarder now controls the EP brake to match specification consistently, min brake rate = 0.7ms-2, normal = 0.9ms-2 and max = 1.1ms-2.
-Adjusted diameter of brake pipes to 1.25 inches.
-Fixed EP isolation switch so it correctly updates the brake controls.

The Bakerloo Line timetable is known for being hard to maintain and this is on our radar, but there are no plans to change it at this time.
