Best Graphics & Sound Enhancement Mods For Tsc

Fyi, pookyheads RWE Pro presets posted earlier in the thread DO work with RWE2 I use them myself in fact.
The RWE dev made it so that you could use the presets in either program.
I think RWE2 may have a few more adjustable parameters than the Pro version so those'll probably just stay at stock settings, I'm happy with them though.

 

Wow! The graphics effects in RW Enhancer 2 are pretty impressive! And the default presets are very usable. If you don't consider yourself a geek (and that is a compliment), you will still like RW Enhancer 2. It has a very friendly, professional level user interface, and the installation is a snap. I'm going to tweak a few things specific to my monitor, but the presets are very good as they stand.

But I have one problem. The RW Enhancer 2 HUD won't display in a scenario. I've tried in Borderless mode and Full Screen mode, and the HUD won't display when the scenario launches. I can Alt-Tab to a black screen titled RW Enhancer 2, so it is running. But when I highlight it and release the Alt-Tab it instantly reverts to the TSC scenario I've got running with no RWE2 HUD. So, I'm going back to RW Central to check the trouble shooting forum.

I bought RW Enhancer 2 for the graphics mods and wasn't even sure if I would even use its HUD. So for me it's no big loss. But it would be nice to try it to see if there are elements of their HUD I might like

 

It was TrackIR v5 that was interfering with the RW Enhancer 2 HUD. When I left TrackIR off, the RWE2 HUD worked perfectly.

Hopefully TrackIR compatibility can be added to RW Enhancer 2 in the future.

 

It already works, no compatibility needed..

You MUST run RWE2 in Administrator mode (Right click "Run as Administrator").

Also make sure you are definitely selecting the same scenario and not changing anything in the game menu, other than that it works for me so it should for you.

 

Yep, after posting about TrackIR above, I ran another scenario without TrackIR and the RWE2 HUD didn't work, so I don't know what is going on. I've got RWE2 running as administrator, so that's not it. And since RWE2 didn't pick up my progress in scenario completions in TSC, I have to start TSC to find a scenario I haven't already played, then I shut down TSC and start RWE2 to pick the same scenario, then I click on Drive in RWE2 which launches TSC again, and then I pick the same scenario.

So not sure what's going wrong with the RWE2 HUD. Will keep at it until I figure it out

 

Got the RW Enhancer 2 HUD working now. It was not working because I was changing small things in the TSC settings after launching RW Enhancer 2, like Headlight Flare, etc.

And now that I've had a little more time with RW Enhancer 2, all I can say is that it is an AMAZING transformation for TSC graphics and sound!
