Just noticed that Birmingham cross city now has guard mode but it doesn’t seem to be working all that well. It tells me to unlock the doors and check tickets. I then go and signal twice however the train doesn’t move.
Me too! After the update BCC vanished from my installation (TSW5 starter pack on PS5) and I had to download it again. When done I ran it and noticed the conductor mode was now available. It was recently announced that would be the case but it is not actually working yet. I have tried (and failed) to find the post on here from DTG that states it is currently not ready to use and should be avoided till we are informed it is functioning.
They did. That's why TSW5 came with Conductor Mode. Although they do need to finish properly implementing on BCC still (I seem to remember it being said that they were).
Anyone got this working now it's been "fixed"? First service I tried didn't work, gonna try a few more.
Hello - just to jump in quickly, we're checking this was correctly integrated into the patch, and will update shortly as some players aren't finding conductor mode on BCC services.
Missed that then, but the service shouldn't have the conductor (ticket) icon then, so it's broken either way.
No it shouldn't and, well, yes it is then. Hopefully this will at least help you be able to play it though.
Tried other services, still broken, the instructions go from Open Doors > wait until xx:xx time, then when that time is reached the instructions jump straight to collect xx/xx tickets before next stop whilst also saying Wait. No close doors instruction and also I'm not getting any visual prompts either.
Ah fair enough then. I'll be honest the only resolution I had were that it were an ECS, so if actual passenger services aren't working I can't be of much more help.
It is not working sadly. When i press close doors it closes all doors and local door is not staying open. Pressing buzzer does not make the train move. What is the correct departure procedure? Could someone explain please. As there is no tutorial. Or is it broken?
I've just watched my install update via Steam and there wasn't an update to the Birmingham .pak file.
So... still did not find the issue what is the problem with guard mode on BCC?Because I do not see a word on today's patch notes. I do not own any of the new TSW 5 new routes and I am really eager to try this feature in other way than the scenario.
Nope, tried yesterday, still doesn't work. DTG Alex It's been 6 weeks since your last message in this thread. Do you have an ETA for the fix on this issue?
Thankfully the updated Fife Circle with Leven branch has a great working Guard mode on many timetabled routes. Looking forward to BCC finally getting it.
