I tried the new timetable on PC/Steam, it was quite good. I took a 47 light engine from Union Sidings and took over a London-Blackpool service, as I was passing through the station (L/E) the 87 that had been ripped came past the other way. My rake was Mk2 Coffins and Mk3s with a BG on the rear. Did that up to Blackpool and jumped off to take over a Blackpool - York service with a short rake of Aircons. Passed a Pool-Blackpool service which was a very mixed rake and included 3 older Mk2s and the RMB (for Vern).

It was good to see things looking a bit more lively too, Blackpool in particular had more activity with my inbound service almost racing a light 47 that was shunting. Several services in the sidings too and upon my return to Preston I saw the Harwich boat train come in for a loco-swap too.

My only complaint, way too many Leyland Nationals, they are everywhere! Has someone replaced the wrong line of code to replace a car with the bus?

Personally I am not too fussed about the lack of older Mk2s as I value the varied liveries more, especially as that old Mk2 model is very dated now. It would be good to have the 31 back at least.

Also: Glad to see the red signal approaching Kirkham has gone, hated that - especially in the 31 with it's knackered exhausters.
