Like the Thames Valley branches on GWE, these are three lines that were annoyingly emmited from the BML/London Commuter route. The route coverage for all three branches is a bit longer 27 miles instead of Thames Valley's 11. However this route is similar in the sense that 2 of the branches are of similar length, and both shorter than the other by a considerable margin.

The distance between South Croydon and East Grinstead is 17 miles while the distance between Purley and Caterham is 4 miles and Purley to Tattenham Corner is 6 miles.

    Motive Power:
Motive power for this route should be 2 emu's that were emitted from BML, namely the Class 455/8 and the Class 377/1.

The Class 455 would be seen mostly on the Caterham and Tattenham Corner branches with the 377 also able to appear on those lines, but the latter would mostly appear on the East Grinstead line.

    Stations:
    South Croydon

    Sanderstead
    Riddlesdown
    Upper Warlingham
    Woldingham
    Oxted
    Hurst Green
    Lingfield
    Dormans
    East Grinstead
    Purley

    Kenley
    Whyteleafe
    Whyteleafe South
    Caterham
    Reedham
    Coulsdon Town
    Woodmansterne
    Chipstead
    Kingswood
    Tadworth
    Tattenham Corner

    Timetable Layers:

The only driveable layers on this route would be the other Class 377 variants subbing in and the Class 171 on the London Bridge to Uckfield services which would be driveable between South Croydon and Hurst Green. The 171s would then diverage onto the diesel only line to Uckfield which on its own is longer than the other three lines combined, and given that the 171 is already its own add-on, it wouldn't make sense to include the line th Uckfield.

Ai only layers would consist of the other SN 377 variants, the GX 387/2, the TL Class 700/0 (even though it should be the 700/1) and the Class 66 for BML traffic through South Croydon and Purley. As unrealstic as it would be, I guess, like on the Riviera line, the devs could set up the Peak Forest Jub, 8f and 4f to represent the Bluebell Railway services.

    :)

That's assuming extensions are possible on the BML since they weren't on GWE, but were on Nahverkehr Dresden (the Meissen branch wasn't there in the beginning). But if they are possible, I don't think we'd get Willesden as part of the BML but maybe London Bridge.

Though just to be clear, in case extensions aren't possible, what I've suggested would be a seperate add-on.

I'd like also to get the bit that goes off at *insert station* and joins to Lewes on the ECW as that would make journeys from London to Eastbourne/Seaford possible

A class 455 is a badly needed addition to the BML. I'd even settle for a 319 for now, as that has far more layering opportunities for other routes
