The Railjet is one of the most important and recognizable trains in Austria and Central Europe, operated by ÖBB. It connects major cities such as Wien, Salzburg, Innsbruck, and international destinations like Munich and Zurich. Why Railjet would be a great addition: High-speed intercity service (up to ~230 km/h) Modern and unique ÖBB locomotive + coach design Popular real-world international routes across Austria, Germany, and Switzerland Great potential for both timetable gameplay and long-distance passenger gameplay Highly requested by the community and well-known in Europe Suggested route options: Wien – Salzburg (classic Railjet corridor) Wien – Innsbruck (Alpine scenery + high-speed sections) Salzburg – München (international service) Railjet would add a very strong European high-speed experience to Train Sim World and fit perfectly with existing Austrian content.
