BR Class 20 Two BR Class 20s in BR Rail Blue livery in 1984. The BR Class 20, originally the English Electric Type 1, was a freight locomotive used by British Rail that could easily add to variety on the Tees Valley Line, where it could substitute into the Class 37 services, and Northern Trans-Pennine, where new services could be added for freight or use the same services as for the NTP freight pack. With over 200 of these locomotives built, they were a common sight across the UK and commonly operated in pairs due to their low amount of horsepower. If this was created for TSW, it should feature a BR Rail Blue livery for both NTP and TVL as well as in Railfreight livery for just the Tees Valley Line. Two BR Class 20s in Railfreight livery at Middlesbrough on the Tees Valley Line in 1990. The Cab of a BR Class 20. The locomotive can be driven from either side depending on whether driving with the cab at the front or with the nose at the front.
I've thought the "chopper" would be an ideal addition to the game. With perhaps a few variations in colour schemes it wouldn't look out of place on any of the current UK routes. Even the WSR. Look, they've even named this one in preparation to go on the TVL route!
I think they mainly ran in pairs due to the cab and the lack of visibility looking forward down the loco. I would love to see them in TSW, would also love the 25 at the back of the two class 20's in the first photo.
