The British Rail Class 365 Networker in Great Northern livery would be a brilliant addition to the upcoming ECML: London King’s Cross–Peterborough route in Train Sim World 7. Proposed train and services The four-car Class 365 could operate suitable historical Great Northern commuter services between London King’s Cross and Peterborough. Possible calling points could include: London King’s Cross Finsbury Park Stevenage Hitchin Huntingdon Peterborough The exact stopping patterns would depend on the historical timetable selected for the route. Features Authentic Class 365 traction motor and wheel-on-track sounds. An accurate four-car train, cab and passenger interior. Functional cab controls, braking and safety systems. Working passenger doors and appropriate announcements. A busy timetable with AI trains and realistic station activity. PlayStation 5 compatibility. Why it would be a good addition The Class 365 would bring a classic Great Northern commuter train to the new King’s Cross route, complementing faster intercity services and adding more variety to the timetable. I understand that developing another train requires time, resources and the appropriate licences. Hopefully, Dovetail Games and Alan Thomson Simulation will consider this as a possible future add-on or timetable expansion. Thank you for reading!
I'm appauled by the little amount of motive power being included with ECML South so anything to be added to it, I'm all for this.
I agree! I think adding the Class 365 Networker in Great Northern livery would be a great way to expand the ECML King’s Cross route. It could introduce historical commuter services between King’s Cross and Peterborough, with realistic stopping patterns and a busy timetable. Hopefully, Dovetail Games will consider adding more trains to give players greater variety.
It would be nice, But we all know that 365's have been scrapped and I'm sure that ATS aren't ready to set this route to a time back in the day.... I'm sure all the care about right now is making the route as up-to-date as possible, But who knows? It can still Happen so I'm also all for this as well
I hope a 365 is in the works. Considering Firefly are working on a 466 and have previously modified the 465 to TSW6 standards, it would be fantastic to see them do it. There is thankfully one driving coach example which is still preserved, however I doubt that really means much. Gathering audio would be difficult, but they could call on AP who have a collection of audio files for the 365.
