Hi, Personally with these sort of freight cars knowing they are more old fashioned the break system is quite basic and known to be loud at the slightest break application. I did a scenario Gronk and Whistler where it involves both Class 08 and Class 40. With the class 08 the freight cars which in this scenario were vans had the breaks make noise at the slightest application and got louder as you applied more break pressure on the wheel however I am having very much doubts with this when it came to class 40 (other sized engines similar could also be placed in this picture). On the way I applied the emergency break however the van wagons did not make any break squeal noise at all. It should of been very loud and sudden. Also when you apply small amount of break pressure they are still quiet, you can hear the break rumble however the squeal isn't present. Known to have sound bug is the BR 12T Van Wagon. Unsure about BR 100T TEA Bogie Tank Wagon yet.
