happened to me every time - hope this helps DTG find the source of the problem, after all these years no irony, probably /o\ start the game choose Riesa - Dresden go to Explore choose the 363 pick a service do the service and Return To Free Roam after completing the tasks save the game exit the game launch the game and resume the saved game BR o7
When I have to save a game midway a service, I just get up and walk out of the train and save the game. (If it's a non stop service, just pretend you've hit something on the tracks and come to a stop ) Later when I play, I walk inside and take control. 99% of the time it works (for me at least). If I save a game whilst I'm still sitting in the cab, there's a high chance that uhh, something breaks.
I will definitely try this workaround, I'm curious if it also fixes broken routing and signals after savegame
