While doing some S-Bahn services today I came across some bugs or errors I would like to address: - Outside Maisach (at km 23.0) there is a distant signal that is missing both the PZB magnet and the Ne2 sign. It is properly announced by the Ne3 signs though On a side note: it is showing the wrong aspect, see other posts on this topic: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/problems-with-signals-pzb.29338/ and https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/signal-errors-on-hma.29512/ - Unfortunately there are not so many places with the Ne5 implemented as there should be. The one at Maisach also has the wrong sign on the one in the middle. It should always be Kurzzug ("short train", only one BR423), Vollzug ("full train", 2 BR423) and Langzug ("long train", 3 BR423) in that order, however at Maisach the Langzug has found its place at the wrong spot - What is it with some of the catenary poles? I have seen that on all German routes now in TSW2, with weird extensions coming from the poles, some even clipping into the train (see the example below). And the arms are clipping weirdly into the pole as well. - When coming into Pasing from Mammendorf with the S-Bahn, there is a speed limit on a switch to 60 (only visible in the HUD) which is not announced, and after that the 60 is announced but there is no signal that enforces the 60. Is there maybe a path set-up in the wrong way (with the train going straight shortly before Pasing instead of going onto the left track and then back onto the track it came from) or are the signals not showing the correct speed limits? Thanks for looking into this
This is very similar to a bug I found a while ago in HRR coming towards Essen on the DoSto services and 422 services from Bochum
Say what? This is the first time I see these inscriptions. Oh, Man! This is called a pedagogical approach. As always, admirable perceptiveness in your performance. BR o7 EDIT I hope someone will start cataloging it in some "excel" - a very great educational value. Error examples with explanations
Glad if that is a positive side effect In S-Bahn networks (such as Munich, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and so on) this is something you typically have at every station so the trains stop in the most passenger friendly place (typically in the middle of the platform with entrances from both sides or that one end of the train is where the access is if it is only from one side). DTG often takes the more general approach of "at the end of the platform" which is sometimes a bit strange
Yes, now that you mention it, there is also this weird place where you go left and right through switches at a speed that feels not right Coming into Köln with the RE is the same, now that I think about it. Not so much with the signals, but that the train switches back and forth the tracks....
TrainSim-Adam So today it was mentioned you are responsible for this type of thing, so I would like to bring this to your attention Thanks for looking into it.
