Is the track speed supposed to be at 25mph the whole line? In the streams I believe I heard them say track speed was higher closer towards brendel ( not on the mainline) after you get out of the rocky / curvy areas of moab where it’s relatively straight yet I did 25mph the whole trip is this correct?
While I have no official documents to prove it, I would assume it‘s prototypical. Honestly, I don‘t know how Matt got the idea that a branch line would have a 60 mph speed limit - that‘s ludicrously fast for a branch line where the track is often in rather poor condition.
The line before the Branch (Brendle area) is 60 MPH I can confirm as I was doing that last night. The top speed on the branch is 25mph, Yes it also drops down to 15 as well. Regards Hentis
