can't seem to perform cold on any of the 3 locos on spg. I believe there was already a bug in sd40 and geep where turning to start after priming did nothing, a second priming seemed to turn it on, and it worked for me at first, but now that also doesn't seem to work, tried holding the knob for 10-15 secs in both directions. The AC44 however started normally since there's not much manual input. But that doesn't start either now.
Did the game update in last 2 days and broke the cold start?

Make sure you activate the loco by sitting down. It needs to be under player control. Only one loco can be in control of the player unless it's part of the consist.

Hey thanks, sitting down fixed it!

Until you sit down it's an AI loco and you can't do a thing with it.

Man, you guys are genius'. I was wondering why on earth I couldn't cold start any of the Sherman Hill SD40-2's at the turntable in the free switching scenario. If I sit down in the engineer seat first (even though I don't need to) it works. It also explains why it tells you to sit in the engineer seat in the tutorial.
