The air brakes seem to work a lot better than on the TEA wagons, having sufficient force in the loaded condition and clearly being calibrated to a lower force in the tare condition. I haven't yet re-checked the TEAs themselves to see if they have been similarly adjusted, but I didn't read anything about it in the patch notes. What I did notice, however, was that the handbrake wheel on the hoppers turns in the opposite direction to the markings on the wagon side - on both sides of the wagon. Also, the indicator pointer does not move at all - it should be an integral part of the handbrake mechanism.
Anyone else catch the short teaser from Skyhook this morning. LINK: There's something very familiar about all this.... - Train Sim World: Cargo Line Vol. 2 - Aggregates (youtube.com)
Not sure what the familiar bit means, but noticed they sat down near the laptop which I think had the Eurostar drawings on
Played the two SEHS scenarios over the past couple of days and really enjoyed them. Great to be following trains and hitting yellow signals. Strood station is also kept very lively. I thought the prolonged stop there in the Hoo Jn-Faversham scenario was good, and I also liked starting on the Medway Valley line beyond Strood in the Strood-Dartford scenario - something nicely different. Haven't properly played the MML scenarios yet, but so far I really appreciated starting in the portacabin and having to walk over to the 66. A nice bit of immersion and adds a bit of variety to the overall gameplay. Finally, safety systems enabled by default was a great choice.
Bought this in a sale, which got me back to the 66. Could someone explain to me if it is prototypical for the 66s to max out the amps in notch 1? https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/about-the-class-66-amps.82593/
LucaZone , or anyone: Do you have a figure for how many AI and playable services (individually) it brings to each add on it works with please? Thank you
I believe this is the date you want that was added by the Cargo Line Aggregates DLC and associated route updates that accompanied it.
for May 1st release of Pack 3, can we expect that the wagon handbrakes will rotate as indicated on the wagon ? Today they apply and release in reverse, at least on Steam on Midland route. When loading in a yard with a gradient on the grade, handbrakes should be applied when assembling a consist, dropping off wagons, etc. Of course, if you walk down a consist after a run-around to release a hand-brake, TSW asks if you want to abandon. Just silly. Needs a fix, too.
