    Hi Guys

On a route network of 331.5 kilometers operate 16 lines serving 166 stations, of which there are about 75 kilometers and 33 stations in the state of Brandenburg. The operation and maintenance of the vehicles will be handled by S-Bahn Berlin GmbH, which belongs to Deutsche Bahn, as part of a transport contract with the Verkehrsverbund Berlin-Brandenburg until 2017. It is the first city express train, which was called S-Bahn, and next to the Hamburg S-Bahn, the only one in Germany, which is operated with direct current from a side-mounted busbar.

    Train Control System

Distance stop of the driving lock: left locked position - right free position
The external signaling was carried out - in addition to the usual at that time form signals - with the introduction of electrical operation by specially developed for the S-Bahn Sv signals. Later, the Hl signals and Ks signals widely used on the railway were also used. The last form and Sv signals finally went out of operation around the turn of the millennium.

The routes are also equipped with mechanical roadblocks. These consist of a stationary route stop and a driving barrier device on the vehicles. This system is currently being converted to the specially developed train control system S-Bahn Berlin (ZBS). A pilot plant went into operation in autumn 2011 on the Berlin Nordbahn between Schönholz and Frohnau. The equipment of the entire network should take about ten years.

I think the S-bahn would be a good addition. Though can see issues with empty main lines if including the Ring and Stadtbahn. I wonder if eventually AI only trains will feature, even if the player can't interact with them

Yes, the Berlin Ringbahn would be a nice add-on, with the S41/42 and, eventually, to have more track lenght, the S45/46/47 lines.
