I bought the BR Heavy Freight Pack on a whim, and because I always liked the class 40.

Have avoided the 08 so far though because it's just an ugly little shunter.

Is it fun to drive? Am I missing out?

It’s a great drive in my opinion. Also in particular I’ve quite enjoyed all the services for it on NTP

I love driving the class 08 and 09. Great little machines for shunting. And shunting is a great way to vary the game.

Built in the 1950s and still operating daily today, says a lot about the "Ugly little shunter"

Haven't got it in TSW yet but I love the scenarios in TSx at Grangemouth with the 08 whether it's balancing the grunt when shunting loads even big engines would struggle to shift from static or zipping around with no load at all, not sure what it's like in TSW but this is on my wishlist when I start building up my TSW DLC

It is a shunter, so don't go in expecting fast mainline operations.

The sound of the thing is incredible, though.
