Class 800 family (800/801/802/803/805/807/810) should be added to Train Sim World. The British Rail Class 800 Intercity Express Train aka The Azuma is a type of bi mode DEMU train built by Hitachi for GWR and LNER. The type uses electric motors powered from overhead electric wires for traction, but also has diesel generators to enable trains to operate on un electrified track. It is a part of the AT300 product family. The train was formally introduced into service on gwr on the 16th of October 2017 and on LNER on the 15th of May 2019.They are currently being ordered by Avanti West Coast and operate on Trans pennine express services. i believe this train should be added to the rolling stock as it’s replacing HSTs, 91s, Voyagers and Meridians on the mainline, it’s got a bumped function meaning it can switch between electric power and diesel, it is one of my favourite and a fan favourite train in the community.
this would be great but id suggest including it in a route such as ecml south like i made the suggestion for, then including this train with it
Bring the Class 800 family with ECML London King's Cross Peterborough with a scenario called the 800 at 8:00
*tsc noises intensify* also if ecml South came to tsw with the edition of ats I'd personally prefer King's Cross- King's llyn and Peterborough- probably just me though.
