This suggestion is for a loco DLC containing a Colas Rail class 37, class 43 and the associated items of test train rolling stock, for the upcoming MML route. The pack would include the locos 37116, 37175, 37219, 37254, 37421, 43251, 43257, 43272 and 43274, and also Network Rail Mk2s and Mk1s. These test trains run all over the UK so would be suitable as layers on all modern UK routes, but the reason the MML would be the DLC's primary route is because it includes Derby R.T.C. There could be a variety of services across all modern UK routes, and also a few scenarios on MML. One idea for a scenario could be bringing a test train out of the R.T.C into Chaddesden Sidings, change ends and then take the train to its destination. Another idea for a scenario would be taking a convoy of 37s from the R.T.C over to Nottingham Eastcroft (or the other way around). The Colas 37s could also be used on engineers trains with the MFA wagons from SEHS.
I would hope it would also have scenarios for a few other routes; also, possibility of including this new livery?
Bring it on and they fit all Era 7 UK routes and why not try adding in Class 70 Colas rail loco to here
No problem . Colas’ fleet is pretty much split into class 56s & 70s for heavy freight work, and class 37s & 43s for test trains. The 37s occasionally drop onto freight or engineers but its very rare
Oh yeah I completely forgot about the 66s. They don’t seem to use them very much though the 70s seem to be the mainstay. Even the grids seem to get more work than the 66s
