This poll is to test if these kind of polls can offer new information on what the community wants to be added into the game in the future. I have put in the 10 most recent proposals for US locomotives from the Loco Suggestions board into the poll, you can choose the 3 that you would most want to be made into an addon. Be sure to read through the suggestions on the Loco Suggestions board before making a choice. Thanks for participating.

    A quick addendum:
I am aware that some of these suggestions have been made for train simulator by third parties not affiliated with DTG so if you would like to get them, they can be found here:

From what I'm told, that RRmods version of the Southern Pacific GP40-2 is stolen property from Searchlight Simulations. SS, however were kind enough to released the Ex-SP version for Free on a post about a year ago. Originally those files were no longer available due to the hosting site having its links expired, but they seemed to since re-uploaded them onto Google Drive.

This is a really great turnout (for me), since I didn't feel like buying it for a while. And along with the now free SS audio enhancement packs, this is turning out to be a pretty nice month.

Thanks for the link to the ex SP, I'll download it and try it out. Also, are you still able to get the original SP pack, as it is still shown as for sale on RRmods' site?

There is one that I think is completely obvious, albeit not highest voted: the Charger. It's new stuff.
Yes, it would be nice to have even more UP, SP engines or Geeps, but frankly, it's already overload.
Of course if the amount of work is limited, reskins are better than nothing.

Chargers would be hard to model, as getting plans would be very difficult. When it comes to modeling things, it's much easier to go with an older locomotive, such as a second generation diesel, or some older rolling stock, as historical societies and the like will usually have them available.

I assume DTG got their hands on some blueprints for the ACS-64 and if they did, then they should be able to get blueprints for the Chargers.

I think Amtrak was a bit more open about the ACS-64's systems and development, and perhaps Siemens might be open on public viewing of charger blueprints.
