Xbox Crewe To Preston

    Just Trains again deliver what a fantastic route the detail is incredible great job again

    Mine won't even lauch. Just gives an out of video memory error and crashes!

    The problem is Crewe itself most services that enter or exit there crash the game

    Yeh its actually when you select a run from Crewe to Preston it doesnt work i was doing shunting before with the 08 that worked fine

    I ran from Preston to Crewe still crashed

    Nice route however had a CTD when crossing the bridge about 1.3 miles south of Warrington whilst operating the Class 86/4 1P70 headcode in fair weather conditions. This route and the Class 805 are unstable on Xbox and need patches. There is nothing worse than investing time into a journey and then having the ridiculous rug-pull.

    Why cant dtg optimise crewe station on any route . Any job that has crewe in it you are guaranteed it will crash. On xbox I have tried a at least 4 jobs now and crashes every time i try and get into crewe. This with 30 layers disabled custom weather to clear and playing in HD with volumetric fog off. It's ruining a really good route. DTG are you gonna sort this out we are fed up of this and rubbish excuses you give us.

    They didn't make the route but its up them to optimise it so it works with their game.

    Crewe worked fine on Spirit of Steam which had a lot more complicated track layouts.

    I done some shunting in the 08 but when i went to do Crewe to Preston it kept saying error and went back to the dashboard

    That will be it compiling shaders, should get better after a couple of runs on the route.

    Also as I hadn't replied in this thread I just thought I'd let all Xbox users know that we are looking into fixes for the crashing and hope we can get it resolved ASAP.

    I had such high hopes for this thought it would be carlisle to Preston route. I dont any problems at all on that one.

    JT have knocked out of the park again...let down by severe blurries for me which is obviously down to the core program and in no way should detract from the effort that JT have put into this route. Thank You

    once those are out I’ll buy it. I’ve been contemplating it all day but if there are things that resolving I’ll wait until they’ve been resolved before leaping into it. No doubt JT are going to fix it all but I’ve been burned by AABS and ATS!!

    Does the 87 and 86 share the timetable. I mean if you a job with the 87 will show has done in the 86 timetable. Thanks

    Some might but the 87 has it's own diagrams too where it runs with Mk3's and to ensure it ran at 110 it has to be in its own layer.

    On my run from Preston to Crewe yesterday evening, passed an 87 hauling a ballast train. Very unlikely in real life, it would either have been a Class 81 or 85 roarer or more likely a Class 25 or probably by then a 31. Certainly in the daytime, the Class 87 fleet would have been fully committed to passenger workings.

    Anyone done 6t75 fiddlers to bickershaw pt 2. I tried 3 times and ctd about 1.5 miles form final stop point. In journey mode.

    This urban legend again? In seven years of TSW, I have never, EVER noticed any improvement in stuttering after hours of gameplay. The micro-stutters, which are more annoying on certain routes, are simply an integral part of a game that has never been truly optimized. I don't know about PC, but on console (first PS4, then Xbox Series X), I have never seen any improvement.

    Does Crewe crash if you spawn there in free roam outside of the timetable?

    I guess everyone on the Internet saying that shaders are pre-compiled on console and compiled into the build must be wrong then, good to know...
