The Lehigh Line, owned by Conrail Shared Assets Operations (a partnership between Norfolk Southern and CSX) is a very interesting route, running from Croxton Yard in Jersey City, NJ to Lehigh, Pennsylvania. CSX and NS trains run daily. The Lehigh Lins shares trackage with NJ Transit from Newark, NJ to Aldene, NJ near Roselle Park. It then splits from NJT trackage, and comes back and runs alongside it from Dunellen to Bound Brook, where it runs separate the rest of the line. Good rolling stock for this route would be a Norfolk Southern GE Dash 9-40CW and EMD SD70ACe, and a CSX GE ES44AC with mixed freight cars. There are some popular railfanning spots along the Lehigh Line, including Bound Brook and Union. The Lehigh Line would be a great route that many would love to have in Train Sim World.
