The Amtrak Empire Corridor runs from New York Penn Station to Niagara Falls in New York state between Albany and Utica it's around 90 miles and Amtrak makes stops and Schenectady and Amsterdam on the way for CSX Selkirk to Utica is around 100 miles joining the Amtrak line between Schenectady and Amsterdam at Hoffmans equipment that should be included with this route could be Amtrak P32AC-DM Phase IIIb, P42DC Phase V and Amfleet cars Phase IV and for CSX the ET44AC YN3b, ES44AC YN3, AC4400CW YN2 and SD40-2 YN3 or -3 in YN3b
Absolutely. The ET44AC (CSX refers to them as ET44AHs) is needed. I think the route should also include a CSX Genset Switcher and SD40-3, plus the P42DC.
Somebody actually made a Hudson Line extension to Albany on the Steam Workshop. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1791752312&searchtext=hudson+line
Yes please! Maybe one of the scenarios could be split in two parts with the first portion being from Rhinecliff to Albany and then shunting the P32 into a siding, and the second having you in control of a P42 and reversing onto the train. I know it's specific but it would be cool.
yea like you are the p42 and the p32 was already taken off and youd need to back out from the shops and connect to the train then drive it to utica
