I would love to see the CSX River Subdivison that runs from North Bergen, New Jersey to Selkirk, NY. Its an awesome rail line, lots of beautiful scenery and since it parallels the Hudson River (hence the name "River Line" it can make for some beautiful shots, and i think it could make for a awesome DLC.

The line use to be owned by several railroads before CSX took over. New York Central was one of the owners as well as Conrail. The Yard in North Bergen would make for some awesome switching missions/jobs, ect. and with it being over 132 miles long, it would make for an awesome DLC!

Extremely agreed! I was thinking about doing it for the TSW editor, but since I don't have a decent computer, I don't think I can do it.

This would be great!. Wish they had more freight operations for North America. The picture below is ten minutes from my house, down town Leeds Alabama. This trackage belongs to North Folk Southern. The siding on the right turns right to the Cement plant. In the distance you can see a train trestle crossing over the main line. There is a lot of great places in america that they could re-create.

I would agree with you but, I'm kinda tired of CSX and would like to see new railroads. You mentioned it was owned by Conrail which I still love despite it's split all those years ago. So why not have the route in Big Blue day's. With dash 8's sd80mac's and sd70mac's. CR 4105a.thumbnail.jpg

Licensing, actually. Since Conrail technically still exists, their trademarks are licensed separately from CSX or NS. They are apparently one of those companies that DTG can't seem to get a license from.

Yeah, but that isn't Conrail. Usually in a merger like this, one of them would get the rights to it, yes, but Conrail wasn't completely dissolved- instead it has been reorganized into the Conrail Shared Assets Operations, which provide some small switching services around New Jersey and Detroit, MI. Although it no longer owns any rolling stock, it still holds on to its licenses, and tightly.

    Locos to include: SD80MAC, GP38-2, SD45, SD40-2, & GE U-Boat, or B23, C30, or B30-7, or B40-8 or B40-8W.

Well, given that TSW routes have been released in a very specific order, we should be getting an American route next. The pattern has been US-UK-DE for a few years now, and a German route is a week from release, so after that there should be an American route.

No idea what it could be, though. Kinda hoping they break away from just CSX for freight, even though I live in CSX territory... kinda want to see some other railroads on TSW .

This is a great route for later on, though.

I was by the CSX River Subdivision at Tappan yesterday and l would love to see fast freight like that in TSW with the loud rumbling noises from the rolling stock. If it were to come with 3 locos like HH, I would want it to be the ES44AH, GP40-2 and SD40-2

I would really like this route as well. Just out of curiosity, does it have passenger operations too?

Not at the moment, It used to. But there is a plan to put use it as one and expand it to have a short branch to the mall at West Nyack. But the project has been put aside due to no connection from Secaucus to Penn, so it won't be continued until the Gateway Tunnel gets done. So pretty much the West Shore Line going to be restored.

Wish Dove Tail would give us a list of routes that they are working on for 2019. I guess I'm also being biased and wanting more American routes. lol

Or maybe an Expansion pack to what we already have. Would like to see more single track, nice scenery to look at. Anything would be great at this point.

It seems that this line is getting done for Train Simulator 2019 right now in it's full length which is great!
