I think these routes should appear in the game next. Set in the 1990s, when you had multiple diverse lashups on freight and commuter trains and pusher operations, as well as run through power. The power could range from E and F-Units and Geeps on MARC and VRE, F40s and Genesis P42s on Amtrak, a mix of four and six axle power on CSX and NS. Freight traffic would be merchandise, TOFC/COFC intermodal, loaded and empty coal, locals, grain, phosphate, and pushers. As well as the Tropicana Juice Train from Florida.

 

It depends as I know that there is or was a Western Maryland track litteraly across.the river they can model. They should (if I remember correctly) have passenger service and all before Amtrak. NOTE: some of the rout is now the Western Maryland Museum.

 

That would be the Lurgan Subdivision. Which would be a perfect route as well
