Loco Setup Custom Formations In Timetable Creation

I'm trying to create a timetable where I'll use some custom formations but I'm struggling to find them in the PC editor asset list. Is there another step I need to take in order to get them into the Train Entry menu or is this just not possible? Many thanks in advance.

 

Miscellaneous - Data Asset then type TrainFormation. You can also copy a formation from another folder and edit it to your liking.

 

Sorry - should have clarified: formations created using the in-game Formation Editor.

I was trying to use that as a potential workaround for importing liveries from the ingame Livery Designer as I haven't found any guides online as to how to do this - I believe it is possible though
