Heard on the stream that we're getting a preview of this loco next week. I'm hoping it will come with some new rolling stock- a center beam flat, tank or coil car, maybe even an old fashioned box car. Well, you never know.

Maybe they will do some use
Of that off-track Chessie' caboose? :D

My guess is caboose will come with the Clinchfield DLC, but I'm not sure, what possibilities that leaves for this DLC. Most major freight cars are already present in-game.

I feel like we are still missing quite a few freight cars from this era.
    -Flat Cars (60ft/89ft)
    -Bulkhead Flatcars
    -Gondolas
    -Woodchip Hopper
    -2 Bay Covered Hopper
    -4 Bay Covered Hopper
    -Hi Cube Boxcars
    -Steel Coil Cars
    -Spine Cars

As well as different types of tank cars (Corn Syrup, Sulfur, etc.)

...great list. I’d like to see many of these added as well- along with center beam cars with lumber stock, etc.

Yup, I'm also totally stoked to see the C40-8W releasing soon. Hopefully, DTG throw in the steel coil car and center beam flatcar from the GP40 dlc.

At this point, I'm hoping the Dash 8 would be good. As my faith with Dovetail on making US (also NA) Content has dwindled since Oakville.
And I'm already sick and tired of passenger routes taking over so it's high time for more freight power to TSW (Other than Cane Creek and CRR) for next year (Hopefully).
But, we'll have to see what they show this week. Still hyped for the Dash 8 though.

I agree, would definitely like to see more freight routes with North American content in TSW2!

I think we are going to have to wait until next week to get it.

The upcoming CSX GE C40-8W DLC for Train Sim World 2 will also feature a new three-bay, 100-ton CSX open-top coal hopper

There are two North American routes in production. One is to release DLC on TS and the other is a new route? Can players who know tell a little about it?

-For the Clinchfield, just look at the TS2020 version, as it is almost the same route, minus 2 locos and about 6 miles of track. But the route is pretty much similar to Sandpatch. Coal Mines and slow grades. Only thing is the route isn't double tracked and is set in a different era. However the EMD F7 will most likely be pretty popular with the livery editor.

-Cane Creek is a branchline located in the middle of nowhere, built by the D&RGW, now owned by the UP. It only sees a train once a week. The line is about 35 miles long.

I knew Cane Creek was no mainline, but one train per week? That's bad, that's very bad.

On the plus side... you should be able to get the scenario and timetable medals very quickly... :)

That why I hope they add at least the mainline between Green River and Thompson Springs, as well as the Nuclear tailing train that runs from Moab on the line to Crescent Junction where the branch line connects to the mainline.

I think I've seen pictures of BNSF and Amtrak trains lurking around this subdivision. Also, ironically, pictures of CSX Dash 8's on the Clinchfield, albeit in the wrong period (early 90's I think).
