Dear team, I noticed several strange behaviors with this loco. Scenery: From Aachen to Ehrenfeld Route: SKA 1. Starting with PZB mode O and AFB on, after LZB ends. PZB set mode to U. Image below As you can see PZB limit it’s 55. Of course not too clear from MFD display but was set in O from the beginning. 2. After disabled AFB. Loco doesn’t apply power anymore. Image below. Throttle applied, no power and brakes not totally released. maybe this behaviour relies in vrakes not released, but train brake and independent brake were totally released. 3. AFB engaged again, throttle applied, brakes are not released until you reach about 5km/h. Image below 4. There is a disgusting sound when you apply power and persist few seconds after you cut throttle. 5. Brake selector (P, G…) it’s not “modeled” as other locos like db br 185 also noticed in other routes and time tables.
Basically, the 187 was built poorly from the start. When it released in October 2021, the sounds were completely wrong, the safety systems didn't work and afb didn't work, even the modeling looks poor in some areas. It took skyhook a year to finally update it with new physics, sounds, updates to pzb and stuff which didn't work out. Skyhook are looking into it but has gone radio silent about it and it's already been over a month so who knows if this will be fixed any time soon. So basically, it is a very poorly made locomotive In terms of the brake selector, skyhook did not have the knowledge to implement it when it got released. Dtg were the ones who implemented the brake selector switch which skyhook did not know of. Now, they aren't going to update the train to add it back.
The pressure indicator in the main brake pipe does not work on the locomotive. It still shows 6.2 BAR. When braking with the train brake, the pressure does not drop.
