I like how TSG is showing these In Production pics of the WIP Locos.

That is Maik's philosophy. So with early pics he can get early feedback about things that should be improved. So he and his team can solve possible issues early.

I think it's a very good development style.

Ludmilla is something we really need for german routes, I don't know what to say, jest piękny, it's beautiful! Keep up the good work, I would happily donate for the project before the loco is ready for release :D We need more 3:rd party developers like Maik.

That looks like one mighty powerful locomotive. Might be the most impressive locomotive in the whole game. :P

How big is this team actually, that they can work on 3 things at once?

Remember that all three won’t come out at once. DTG is able to work on LOTS of things at once with a team of just over 100.

At least 5 people are involved right now. Me, three 3d artists and a scenario creator. It will not be as fast as DTG can produce things. But my goal is not to be the fastest. I want do deliver good products. The early annoucement of them is because i can use the feedback to make them better. The Ludmilla is not right around the corner yet. But it is a complicated shape and so i want to have early feedback from potential customers. Generally they will be produced one after each other, not in parallel.

Thanks a lot Maik, that’s impressive. Congrats to you and your team. The little previews get me very excited and this development approach is great, being open to feedback early on, ensuring a quality product. Take your time and I’m very intrigued to see the final result. :)

Stoked to see from one of the comments earlier in this thread that the 101 is coming with IC coaches - Frankly I'm getting bored with Doppelstockwagens on everything!

Meh, everything in America is oversized. You don't really notice the size of these engines if everything around them is scaled up as well :P

:) - I guess the opposite is true, when everything is scaled down , you don’t really notice how small the locomotive really is ..... Best

A Ludi has basically the same size and same power as a SD 40-2. Only thing a 232 does not reach is the max TE on coupler with only 292Kn versus 410Kn. But the BR241 (called "Super Ludmilla") does have that TE and more horse power.

I think they are all impressive in their own way. Equal if it is the V300, the Dash 9 and so on. I love them all.

Personally and imo all modern american locos look and sound the same, at least the Ludi has style.

I really like this approach, please keep it up, others could learn a lot from that. I for one prefer quality over quantity, so this is a good thing! I am really looking forward to see your locos in the game!

Not really. The BR143 and the BR155 also are from East german origin and very different from e.g. the BR146, BR185, BR182 , BR101

And the BR 112 / DR 212 is also still to come with Hamburg – Lübeck. Another East Germany Loco.

Have been driving a few activities in Zusi 2 with this type of loco. Can any of our German friends confirm the Zusi sounds are authentic? If so and the developer can nail the audio, we are in for a real treat!

Not meant to cause offence, it's a personal opinion, now go back to the 40's and 50's then you can argue I'm talking codswallop.

It was often used for InterCity trains, especially after the Reunion of Germany. A Lot of Tracks in the GDR were not electrified, and there was no real opponent to the 232.

Does this have the Audio warning of Sifa Zugbremse found on BR 146.2 & BR 185 Main Spessart Bahn Aschaffenburg-Gemünden. Also the French TGV POS & TGV 2N2 if Dovetail games decides to do Strasbourg Kehl Karlsruhe route or Strasbourg Kehl Karlsruhe Mannheim Frankfurt Hbf route.

I know it's been a while, but I was curious if there was any more news about the possibility for a Railion livery for the BR232?

    I like that development philosophy.
Wish DTG and the other 3rd party devs shared it.

A Bit late to the party sorta speaking, but I was just wondering what ever happened to this project, was nixed by DTG? I see the TSC version on Steam, was this where this loco ended up going rather than TSW___

Still pending, but it got sidelined from all the other 2nd and 3rd party projects the team created/helped with. Maik from tsg did say the loco had to be rebuilt because it didn't look right. Now they focus on the 420 and the new german route. The original plan was to work on this last I think after the 420 and 218, so it's a long way off

Thanks for the info, yeah a long way off that is for sure, I guess it will be when it will be. It does look like a nice loco though.

Sorry to intrude here but did not know how to address you direct any other way. Love your locos and your upcoming ones. How about one of the Krokodil family like the SBB GE 6/8 11, RHB GE 4/4 for the Bernina or one of the OBB varieties ? I would love to have one of these in TSW before I die. They were my favourite things in TSC. Thanking you in advance !!

Well if they ever get bored with the German stuff they could amuse themselves with the Krok. There is a German "version" but it is not articulated and has a less exciting cab with no big levers to pull. However would be happy to settle for that.

I'd love to see some more oceanblau-beige and I suppose that's olive green for the older E-loks. I loved Niddertalbahn and Linke Rheinstrecke but the lack of more rolling stock has made me not play those for a bit.
