    The 170 and 171 are basically the same, with the exception that the 171 has the same coupling mechanism as a 377, whereas a 170 has the couplers of a sprinter or pacer

    While my sweet-spot is the Network South Era, I'd absolutely love a modern TPE route with IETs and 185s, Liverpool to York (okay maybe that's a little too ambitious. The current TPE route in TSW really doesn't do justice to the beauty of the Pennines.
