December Season Of Reveals Speculation And Discussion Thread

I did wonder to myself whether this reveal might be steam related, as did others. Although unlikely. However it is but certainly not in the way I hoped or invisaged.

 

Thomas the Tank Engine eh? Surprised Mattel allowed it, they seem pretty strict with anything Thomas related.

While it piques my interest (I can drive Thomas himself yay), it's also underwhelming. This was the big reveal? Really?

 

Thomas is fun...but not for me. Best bit of the seasonal reveals was the 86 in my opinion.

 

It is interesting that we're technically getting steam again, although I can't imagine much thought has gone into the physics/ performance of Thomas. Maybe they based it off the 4F?

I'm surprised they didn't try and make a Gordon engine using Flying Scotsman as a base. If I'm remembering my Thomas lore correctly wasn't Gordon originally designed by Gresley as a prototype for his first pacifics? So it wouldn't be out of place at all.

I had a dream last night that there was a "bonus reveal" that London Commuter was getting a remaster, as well as a remastered West Cornwall local set in 2015...

The disappointment I felt when I woke was immeasurable.

 

I'm not sure how I'd feel either after a dream with JD Alex and Matt in it
