This is an iconic Danish Route. This beautiful route is about 100km from the Denmark/Germany boarder village of Padborg to the stunning harbour town of Fredericia. The route has a mix of passenger and freight. The Freight Locomotives include the DB Class 185 (Green-Cargo), Ex-DSB Class MZ, Ex-DSB Class MY and the Ex-DSB Class EG. Around Fredericia, there are often freights to and from Maschen Yard (The biggest freight yard in Europe). These can be mixed or containers. The Class EG and Class 185 operate Denmark and Germany, where as the Class MZ and MY are Diesel Electric Locomotives and only operate to and from the boarder. The main types of passenger trains in Denmark are the IC3/ER3 (IC3 - Diesel and ER3 - Electric). These trains operate into Germany, to the top of Denmark in North Jutland and to Copenhagen. At Frederica, there is a DB depot where the freight crews change to take the trains to the boarder or to the capital or to the North. The Drivers will take the train to Padborg where they will meet a German Driver to take the train the rest of the way in Germany. Also at Fredericia is the DSB train care depot. This route is the link to freight going to and from Scandinavia. Class EG Stands at Padborg ready to head into Germany DSB Class MY DSB Class MZ DB Green-Cargo Class 185 Class IC3
If I remember correctly, they only said route length isn't a technical limitation. It still requires more time to develop, and that's currently what's limiting routes in their length.
