At Blue Anchor we pass both a 4-car CL101 DMU and then wait for the CL33+4TC combo to pass So far so good
Then off to Minehead where a splash of NSE colour has appeared (well I couldn't leave 'Falcon' there as we had passed it earlier on at Bishop's Lydeard) Well we made it to Minehead. There is an issue with the end point of the scenario (there always is) but we must be nearly there now Will update the list of links to include the CL20s and the NSE CL47 seen in the above screenshots.
Usually the way - it means you have to go through the entire scenario again to check the last 2 minutes!
Fifth scenario. Skipping to Minehead. Starts from Williton sidings. First siting of 'Angie' and an ochre liveried Western The Western starts off in the headshunt and we then swap places with it before setting back into the platform. (The pair of Skippers only just fitting into the headshunt). A nice move, on a rare piece of track, to start off the scenario methinks.
Then a CL47 arrives on a southbound service. It's arrival clears the road for us to depart. Off to Minehead we go
A few passengers to pick up at Doniford Halt before going on to Watchet. And that's as far as I've got on this scenario so far. Will finish off tomorrow and see about uploading. This has been an enjoyable project so far
Continuing with the above scenario we pass and 'interesting' formation at Blue Anchor. Then it's off to Minehead
Where we end up being routed into the wrong platform Typical Shouldn't be too difficult to resolve though
Final scenario is a Falcon trial. A short run from Williton to Norton Platform. Scenario starts with a Minehead bound DMU departing from the adjacent platform. The Player service is then held up waiting for a CL40 to arrive. Enjoy
We pass 2 services at Crowborough. A CL47 on a demonstration freight and a surprise before arriving at Bishop's Lydeard. Enjoy
At Bishop's Lydeard we can see a number of the exhibits on display for diesel day as we depart for Norton Platform.
Well you'll be able to have a play from tomorrow because, hopefully, that's when I'll start uploading the scenarios. (This is the most painful job as I have to check all the dependencies as well as the timetable and then write everything down on the rubbish Creative Centre upload screen). Wish me luck Last photos from final testing of both the Falcon and Skipper scenarios. Falcon leaves Bishop's Lydeard and heads off to Norton Platform where the scenario ends.
Falcon Trial Scenario uploaded and available to play (Please let me know if there are any issues) Creators Club - 11:11 Falcon Trial (DJ) (Links to liveries and mods required are on the very first post in this thread). PinzaDave - one for you methinks. You'll see quite a few of your creations in a new setting More to follow shortly.
Hi DJ, Have just downloaded this and played it. What a Gala! Something for everyone. Great to see some of my locos and stock running on your well-organised timetable. The freight workings were an excellent addition. Only thing that got me was the sound of either 20s or a 40 at Williton. Think it was inside the shed! And I forgot to download Lion and had a Green 47 instead (but that was fine). All in all an excellent scenario. Just wish the top speed was more than 25mph though.
Of course not. Glad to see that it has uploaded OK. Thanks for your comments. I need to look at sounds because I really need to tweak my invisible loco to make it silent. Bugger. I've just realised that I never added Lion to my list of requirements. I've just added it now
Second scenario uploaded. Short run from Blue Anchor to Minehead. (Leave the passenger doors open at the end of the scenario if you want to have a little wander around Minehead). Creators Club - 17:12 Prototype Pacer (DJ) You need the 4TC unit for this one. (Mainly to disguise the fact that the path used on that service reverses the direction of the train for some reason).
There is a pair of CL20's in the shed. It was the only formation I had that would fit so that I could place a loco outside of that shed. In this case "Angie". Still there's not really an issue of something being fired up in the shed. Maybe I should've placed another pair outside? Can't believe that you missed Lion
Run the scenario at 1.5 x speed. The locos still handle OK and it gives you the impression of 37 mph. A better compromise.
Third scenario uploaded Drive a CL101 DMU from Minehead to Williton and then shunt your train into the sidings there. Creators Club - 18:52 Williton CL101 (DJ) Enjoy
Fourth scenario now added. A full route end-to-end run from Norton platform to Minehead with lots of passing traffic Creators Club - 07:47 CL166 to Minehead WSR (DJ) Enjoy
