Creation Sharing Doncaster To Sheffield + Industrial Yards

So counted the services today and I'm at 715 Driveable Services and 492 AI Services.
I could be off a few numbers so over 700+ Driveable and 400+ AI Services.
Not counting the supertrams services.

This is subject to change with more as I work on it more.

 

Static Wagon layering and setting up, decided to split the layers up to allow a bit less requiring lots of DLC.
Though currently a lot of DLCs are still required due to how the project is setup, looking at ways to ease it up.

 

Just finished clearing up errors to do some cooking tests. And my plugins now cook correctly.
Station announcements have been tested and partially work still need to fill in and create wavs and soundmaps.
More timetable tweaks and adjustments to get trains to function correctly and arrive on time.

Will need to resim the timetable due to formation/rvd changes.

And sneak peek of a freightliner class 66 passing by.

 

Currently working to fix the timetable times due to late service arrivals and stuff along those lines.

Supertram Yellow Line is now now completed timetable wise as well as Supertram Parkgate Route.
Just fixing some more time related issues and I'll be working on static locos and wagons.

Will work on one more of the supertram routes so trams pass by sheffield station.

 

We are all watching how this project comes closer and closer to life. It is a lot of tough work.
I truly believe in you! Keep it up! Do you think you would be able to arrange this route with DTG to present with TSW7 already?

 

Would love to but right now its a hobby project, would love to have access to the inhouse editor but personally I don't have the finances to do that.

Highly doubt it'll even be close to finish for TSW7.

You don't need finances you just have to pitch them the idea and get them to accept the project.

Then you can carry on at the same pace as you are now. There is no pressure from them to finish before you're ready to.

I’m fine as i am right now thanks anyway.

 

Back working on the route and found a problem with Mexborough station that needed redoing the meshes.

Also working on soundmaps for announcements.
Main Soundmap for stations is sorted just need to work on the onboard soundmap and then work on adjusting the source files to have speaker effects on them.

 

Still going through timetable issues and setting up preventative measures to stop certain outcomes.
Currently thinking and planning on the first alpha release once I've got around to sorting the station platform and pathway meshes out and making sure all passenger traffic is working on said stations.

So regarding the early alpha, I'll be probably doing some more block outs of buildings and stuff before release, just feel it would be a bit boring with nothing to see.

 

Was able to get references to finally set up these signals.
Wondering around York trying my best to get photos of these two, you're able to see the back of these signals from the train coming in from Doncaster to York.
The left one can be seen from the front from the road next to it but the right one is lower than the wall so had to figure out by the shape of signal from the back.

 

Update regarding the timetable, i completely forgot to add East Midlands Train services currently simulating the current timetable so i can have an easier time placing the missing EM train services in.

 

Just a quick update to say the timetable is getting more complete with all services recieving description and map points for the map widget which will be made later on.

Currently fixing up service time issues and cleanup.

Update: Reworking some the freight services as I've recently been able to access old 2024 timetables.

 

So timetable is getting a freight rework as recently was able to access the new subscription section of realtime trains and is able to access old timetables so I'm removing and adding services that'll require some new simulations to figure times out.
