Hello everyone, the Douro River Line is a tourist and comercial line in northern Portugal. The construction started in 29 July 1875 and the line was conclued in 9 December 1887. This line conects the second biggest portguese city (Porto) to some locations in the interior of Portugal, originaly this line ended in Spain but today ends 28km away from Spain. For much of its route the line runs close to the Douro River, offering very scenic views of the river, valley and vineyards, witch are classified as World heritage and it is the biggest line along a river in Portugal. Along the line there are 22 tunnels and 35 bridges and the the most beautiful stations.
