    The matter of this discussion isn't about the word shitty itself, it's the use of it.

    If you walk into a bakery, get an item of your choice, have it, don't like it, and then turn round to the baker and say "this is f**king LOVE!" - that's downright disrespectful.

    Similarly, if you use the same phrase (or similar) in this context, you're berating the Developers' work, not the Baker's.

    If you can't give feedback on a product without swearing, what's the point.
    This here is a laughable post.

    right, I think this has gone far enough. Locking this thread.

    As for voicing feedback, I generally determine constructive feedback to be:

    providing feedback to another on their behaviour or performance that is empathetic, helpful, focused, and solution orientated - whilst it's unrealistic for this to be the case all the time, I'd ask that, particularly in your interactions with each other, you aim to view it through this lens. As many have said, this thread has descended into something it shouldn't have been, and we could all do with putting ourselves in others' shoes sometimes before we wade in.
