I have the feeling, that DTG really could improve their conversation with the community. At the moment, we have the News website, which gets an article every now and then, but that's about it. A publicly available Bugtracker would be a good beginning. I am aware that DTG does not want to make their current bugtracker publicly available, because a lot of things in there are about yet unannounced content. Still, at least the bugs regarding the already released content could be visible by everyone. Another idea would be a feature where the community could vote what feature they want next, so DTG gets an idea what is wanted by a big part of their community and what not. A good example for the things I mean is Subnautica. The Devs used Trello and it was always clear what they were working on and what was coming next.
