    Welcome to the north of england, Experience A vary of passenger operations both fast and stoppers along one of north's englands most intriguing routes in Train Sim world 3: Durham Coast line: Middlesborough - Newcastle.

    Hello all! Going back to my homeland for this one! Today I will be suggestion the Durham Coast Line for TSW: With 11 stations covering 39.5 miles this would be the PEFECT fit for TSW3. This line is operated by Northern Rail but also has Grand Central Operations between Heartlepool and Sunderland on this route.

    Rolling Stock:
    Class 156:

    Scenarios:
    A super day out (difficulty 2):
    Take this class 156 between Newcastle and Middlesborough calling all stations during the mid morning after rush hour.

    Super Storms (Difficulty 4):
    Take this class 156 between Middlesborough and Newcastle on a semi-Fast pattern - Its a major storm today so delays are inveitable.

    Real Express (difficulty 1):
    Take this class 158 non stop between Newcastle and Middlesborough as a very rare service.

    Sprintin through snow (diffficulty 3):
    Take this fast class 158 service between Middlesborough and Newcastle as a regular service - However beware as a snow storm is brewing.

    A grand Day (difficulty 1):
    Take this class 180 between Sunderland and Heartlepool non stop as a regular service before letting another driver finish the journey down to London.

    Timetable:
    Any modern timetable works: 2019,2021 or 2022 are fine.

    Before anyone says BR blue to link it up with tvl
    ... fair play actually but imo we need northern Sprinters and northern modern routes haha. If we're going for old br era though if somebody is willing to give detailed info of that - that'd be welcome.

    Why not set this 1989 that way both Sprinter and Pacer are in 1989 colours freight class 58 bone and merge with TVL assuming the common origin point is Sunderland or Darlington railway stations. Otherwise, a Koln Koblenz Koblenz Frankfurt Am Main TSC situation happens due to both routes can't merge due to different common origin points.

    Thats a fair point. Presuming its 1989 didnt GC use HST sets I belive insted of the modern 180 for servies round there?

    Good question and GC didn't exist at this time therefore it's Eastern Region

    Would love to see this line come to TSW as although its my local line and I can see it from my flat windows it also has so much potential for passenger and freight workings
