Class 66 cab 2 train length panel buttons seem to be mirrored. I.e. enter does clear, clear does enter, 1 does 3, 3 does 1, 7 does 9, 9 does 7, 2 still does 2, 5 still does 5 etc.
Was watching a cab ride video on an azuma into kings Cross. And was amazed by it all. But also what stood out to me was the fact in game there is no speed selector nor as like on the video, nothing has a sort of halo or glow in dark colour when in the tunnels. This was very noticeable in the video..around the aws particularly..when I play the game there's none of that sticking out to me.
Playing service 1E04 on ps5 and still having issues with speedometer going dark. For no reason. Have to keep clicking it back on. And also the TMS screen to right is going out as well. Why is this. Did send a ticket but no real resolution. Additionally just before Newark if southbound there's no working AWS magnet just before the bridge. Why is this?
The PIS at Doncaster doesn't show stations for trains which do not stop at Retford, Newark, Grantham or Peterborough, even though they stop at Doncaster.
On steam PC ECML Mastery Mastery level 2 Anyone having issues after completing lvl It reset,as if I have not started it,after spending two hours doing the required scenarios.
I'm on Xbox, but I've been having this issue. I've completed the tasks for level 2, yet it won't count on the mastery
Hi all has anyone had problems with Azuma coaches disappearing? I've passed a few trains with huge gaps in the middle of them.
Hello 1A18 Leeds to Kings Cross. Rain effects not showing on windscreen. You could see and hear it externally, though not seen it until the speed drops near Peterborough. But still no effects on windscreen. New one on me , not happened before.
I've had this, but only on creators club liveries (including things like century etc. where the rest of the train is LNER. I resolved it by unsubscribing from all creator club liveries and deleting all my custom liveries.
Yes I have noticed this too. When I start a service in the rain the "rain effect" is present on the windshield. However after turning on the wiper the windscreen becomes permanently dry and stays that way, even if I turn the wiper back off. This does not effect the rear cab, I can only assume because the wiper has not been turned on back there. So it is possible to drive in the rain without wipers, although if you do this the game will still take away points for not using them. This concerning the Azuma on Series S. Edit: I submitted a ticket, for whatever good that will do.
It took me several tries to get this mastery. Unfortunately when you complete a scenario it is not always recognized by Dovetail Live. The trick is to save the scenario at the end, just before it is completed. That way you can keep replaying the end of the scenario over and over again until the game recognizes your completion. Sounds crazy but it works. You can also try to log out of Dovetail Live, remove TSW from your Quick Play and restart your console. Once you start TSW and log back into Dovetail this will sometimes trigger a mastery recognition. The mastery system has been this way since forever, really. Good luck.
I’ve just noticed an issue with the passengers on ECML. Whenever your riding or driving in the rain at dark, the passengers inside the train seem to be pitch black. This is on Xbox Series S! Also another issue seen in this image is although I had completed the service before I took this image, the game still thinks I’m driving a train when I’m not lol (load passengers)
You only needed to ask once, preferably in the suggestions forum. It will either be acted upon or not. The subsequent 246 times will make no difference.
There are a few known problems with lighting in WCML, including tunnel lighting in certain tunnels. But this is the ECML feedback thread - the WCML one can be found here https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...e-london-euston-milton-keynes-feedback.84525/ and has some info in the top post re this
A wise man once said “When you feel like giving up, remember why you held on for so long in the first place”.
TSW5 - ECML Shift + Num Enter and CTRL + Num Enter not fully enabling the safety systems on the Azuma and results in AWS not working and then only scoring 35 points. It you enable all the switches on the back wall, then AWS is working and the scoring is working. This is on PC steam.
Yes! I thought it was only me. I’ve noticed on TSW5 it happens less often but still happens nevertheless. Also, not sure if this the only case but I have noticed it happens mostly with the ‘rainbow’ liveried 801’s. I have not downloaded any ‘rainbow’ liveries from Creators Club so I’m guessing its an official DTG one? DTG Matt
None of the Azumas in TSW have any sort of special livery. For them to do so the livery would've had to have come from Creators Club.
With all the fuss currently with the three new routes, I'm still drawn back to the ECML for a spin. Can't help thinking some new dlc would spice it up. It would be lovely Dovetail, obviously when you can fit it in.
Is it a bug? Or wrongly interpreted signal? First it was a red signal, then the semaphore lit up and on the track monitor the signal became permissive. This is the first scenario where I need to switch the train to diesel and park. Spoiler: Screenshot
The two white lights to the left of the aspect form a ‘calling on’ part of the signal and override the aspect to indicate that a low speed shunting manoeuvre is permitted beyond the signal. That’s not a formal definition, but in layman’s terms for TSW that’s what it means!
Thanks for the explanation! Eh, I should look for the manuals for the British signals. How sometimes we need official manuals...
Yeah that's permission to carry on forward to the siding/yard under a proceed under caution. So about 15mph I think.
Has anyone encountered a bug in the "Limping off" scenario? When approaching a traffic light, the oncoming train does not leave the station, I've been waiting for about 15 minutes, but to no avail. I don't think there's any point in waiting any longer. And in the head cab it has activated tail lights, apparently also a bug. Spoiler: Screenshot
Best thing to do is reload the scenario when this happens. I'd not had this when I did the same one, though that was on TSW4. Should only be waiting a couple of minutes. Have had a few issues with the timetable on WCML on the new one.
Still keep getting the speedometer screen go black and have to keep pressing it back on. Additionally, the functions on the tms screen to the right of speedometer screen don't seem to do anything when in cursor mode. Even though originally, in tsw4 they did?
I tried running a stop signal to load from a checkpoint. It was rolled back me to ~18:34, but the train still wouldn't leave, obviously it's a bug. I contacted tech support, but I guess there's nothing to hope for, because it's Dovetail...
When you reset the aws it doesn't have the action of you resetting using the AWS button but instead via the dsd and vigilance foot pedal. I think this is quite immersion breaking.
I'm fairly sure it does both the pedal and the button at the same time. It would be nice to choose whether to press the pedal or the button, but I'm used to the game pressing both now.
The AWS Acknowledge button will only be pressed by pressing the circle (PS) button if there is a warning horn. I.e. at a yellow or red signal. If you just press the circle normally, or at a green signal, the AWS acknowledge button will not be pressed. This seems normal to me - but I may have misunderstood your post samuelpower2001
