    Today I will be suggesting the Midland Mainline operated by Thameslink and East Midlands Railway (owned by Govia Thameslink Railway and Transport Uk group). This route will have 21 stations in total and will be 103 miles (165.762km) long.



    THE ROUTE


    The route starts at St Pancras, located in Central London, ending at Corby and Leicester located in Northamptonshire and Leicestershire

    The class 810, manufactured by Hitachi as part of the AT300 family from 2021 - present, 33 of these five car units have a maximum operating speed of 125 mph [200 km/h]. The safety systems used are TPWS/AWS and ETCS.

    810/0 (5 car, Bi-mode,used on overhead electrified and un electrified lines )


    810/0 - 301 seats 125 mph (200 km/h)
    810/0 - 47 first class seats, 254 standard seats

    The class 222, manufactured by Bombardier Transportation as part of the Voyager family from 2003 - 2005, 27 (with 26 currently in operation) of these five - and seven car units built with 23 222/0s and 4 222/1s. This train has a maximum operating speed of 125 mph [200 km/h]. The safety systems used are TPWS/AWS

    222/0 (5 and 7 car,Diesel ,used on electrified and un electrified lines )

    50 first class seats 190 standard seats and 10 tip-up seats

    The Class 360 manufactured by Siemens Transportation System as part of the Desiro family built in vienna and uerdingen from 2002-2003 21 of these four car trains have a maximum speed of 110 mph (177km/h) the safety systems used are TPWS/AWS.

    360/1 (4 car,AC only ,used on Ac lines )

    360/1 - 280 seats 110 mph (177km/h)
    16 first class seats and 264 standered seats
