Yes but the bar Yes but the bar is attached to the top of the glass and should drop with it. Otherwise how are you going to get the window back up?
They didn’t mention anything about that… They asked is the window’s opening function accurate to real life and posted a screenshot of the window closed.
so that's not right, it's a valid complaint, the model is wrong, it needs to be fixed. It's like saying ""the engine in my car doesn't start""..... Ahh yes sir, but you have an engine don't you??
He's actually right about the window because when you drop the window the top bar stays at the top of the window frame instead of travelling down with the glass
Little test for everyone with this to do. Go and do the training module for 47484 and see what you can hear in the start up sounds! once you hear it go into NTP and do the 47 training part of the diesel introduction module and you should hear the same thing in there, showing that not only are the 40 & 45 lifted straight from NTP the 47 sounds are too.
My honest appraisal of the DLC. 1. The first (and most prominent) issue with the 47, is the lack of wheel sets under any LD reskins! 2. Whilst most of the model can be reskinned, the marker light surrounds can't; at either end. 3. Can we not have the ability to reskin the bufferbeams and cowlings? This applies to every class 47 model; not just the ECML DR one. 4. The RCH cables on the Mark 1s are supposed to fall from the receptacle boxes; not stick out at right angles to them. 5. There's no plug on the end of the ETH cables, so one end of them appears to float under the receptacle boxes. 6. When coupled together, using the Buckeyes, buffers are supposed to be pushed back clear of each other; with the Rubbing Plate doing their job, instead. 7. Talking of Buckeyes, the ECML DR mark 1s clearly don't like getting too "touchy feely", as their Buckeyes never actually engage with each other! 8. I feel sorry for the Shunter that has to join them together; all pipes, cables and bags are joined, when they wouldn't, in reality. 9. Do Athena have a touch of "Rivet Games Disease"? I haven't actually tried to reskin one of their Mark 1s, but I did notice the vehicle numbers were present in Livery Designer; as per Rivet LD models. Why, when even the modding community can remove them, do certain software houses insist on leaving unit and/or vehicle numbers on, for their Livery Designer port overs?! 10. In the description, on Steam, it mentions that the entire DLC is Livery Designer, Formation Designer and Scenario Planner compatible, so why has the 45 not been ported into Livery Designer? And why can't reskins of the mark 1s be used in Formation Designer?
Ive got 75 DLC on Steam and now I’m playing beautifully through GeForce NOW but after I purchased ECML Diesel Railtour pack it downloads the DLC every session whereas it should just have it all preloaded like the other 74 DLC. It’s frustrating because even though it’s downloaded, it does it after the game starts loading so content isn’t available until after a restart but a restart just makes it redownload again, round in circles. I have a ticket in with NVIDIA so hoping for some fixes, the best advice so far was uninstall and reinstall…yeah my 5 year old worked that one out…but no. it works locally on Steam. It’s not as nice as Ultra on GFN but at least it’s not a Steam issue. Just don’t know why 1 DLC out of 75 is refusing to stay fully loaded and ready to play from my library. Weird.
Does this have its own timetable. Or is it just 10 scenarios on ECML. And then subs in on different routes. Thanks
Everything that was wrong with it at launch is still wrong with it now. It's basically a reskinned NTP 47 with a little bit of cosmetic work done on it. It NEVER ran on the ECML in that livery AFAIK and it doesn't have any of the systems that would allow it to run on the mainline in the time period of the route it's on.
So, gave it a try for the first time in ages, fired up Southbound Whistler scenario. Spent 15 minutes outside Retford waiting for a southbound express to leave that's been stuck on the platform with a red light. PS5. Edit: Took a walk to the service and it's a 700....with no driver.
Just a gentle reminder about the Athena (Livery Designer) "Hover Duff" and the issues that need fixing First screenshot shows why I call it the "Hover Duff"! The rest highlight areas that either can't be reskinned (the marker lights on both ends) or areas where being able to reskin would permit content creators to produce more accurate repaints (ie. the bufferbeams and cowlings). The last one highlights a recent issue with the door handles; should be silver.
As regards to 700 at Retford, on one of the scenarios (I forget which one forgive me) I saw a 700 at Doncaster on Platform 1 (I could maybe forgive if it over at the works if one ever went there, but I doubt they did) In addition to that, in the same scenario there was a third of a gwr 166 in platform 5. Again, in the works, sure, but at the platform?
The lack of anything from them suggests they've washed their hands of the DLC (unless Athena or DTG want to prove us wrong)!
I've just asked a certain member of DTG staff about the issues with the 47 and been blanked, so I would say they've now reached the stage of sticking their fingers in their ears and pretending the model's perfect! Either way, I'll be steering clear of Athena DLCs - assuming they produce any more of them - in future!
This was mentioned in the update notes ECML Diesel Railtour Class 47 • Fixed an issue causing the brake sound not to activate. • Decreased marker light intensity.
I thought AI was getting patched, or lack of AI? The scenarios are completely unrealistic with no AI traffic. I think we were told on release that all scenarios were broken and had 'old' AI set up. Same old story with the same old people... We've not forgot the Midland Mainline promises...
More issues with this DLC! Firstly, the amount of details left on the Livery Designer models make it difficult to produce a fully accurate reskin. Secondly, even if you do manage to overlook the above (or hide them), you can't add reskins of the coaches into custom formations and the reskins don't appear in game, anywhere; making reskinning them pointless and (thusly) having the LD models pointless! The fact that neither DTG nor Athena have graced us with any comment about the issues with the pack, indicates they've washed their hands of it. It's currently on 50% discount, but on the basis of what I've experienced, my best advice is to avoid buying it; unless that discount becomes 100% (and, even then, don't get your hopes up about what you can do with it)!
Unfortunately, in one version of the Class 40 there was a bug where the windows in the engine room lit up along with the right side light, they literally glowed. That's a shame, a useless bug......
It was redflagged for me as soon I heard who was in charge. Been there done that anything with Jane involved is DLC poison.
Looking through these and your the first person to mention the wheels not being there on LD. Reason I bought. This and other complaints have been here for some time but no changes especially to the wheels. That would make every recent product I’ve bought faulty and not fit for use!. I can’t use these in LD. So DTG and Jamie can you give paying customers feedback on our feedback. Because it seems these threads for feedback are becoming a waste of time. Nothing ever gets done. I would also like to point out that it seems when it comes to LD they are making most vehicles unfit for use in LD. It’s happening more and more now. It’s like DTG don’t want users to recreate reskins. I know why too. Why spend 11.99 on a reskin when it’s already on CC for free. The add on packs aren’t offering much in ways of services after reading thought the comments, can’t use in LD so what’s the point on spending 11.99 when I had these already. All four of the GW150 Anniversary, they’re are also available in TOPS codes. (Due an update I think as these were made with 300 limit on TSW2/3). I bought to have a nice looking model for LD with the painted pipes and tyres etc. Yet I find my wheels are missing if using LD. HOW CAN THAT BE MISSED and NOT FIXED!. It’s not the first pack faults too but NO ONE is listening. I refuse to buy any products until this and other issues are resolved. All here leaving feedback DTG are your customers. It’s ridiculous because what it says on the product like the additional class 40s and 45s and we don’t get. I can’t even use this loco on the route it’s made for (ECML) Peterborough, Doncaster. It’s just a right mess!. This is why I support your feedback now as the issue you’ve raised have simply been left. DTG, we need a change. 5 Packs and each one has issues be in gameplay or LD resolution or unable to edit certain parts in LD. It’s making these adds on pointless, because I do feel people buy to edit. I personally do yet this is all I get. A add on with no wheels in LD!. I thought it couldn’t get any worse. How wrong I was. ✌
Well it’s been a few days now after leaving feedback like so many others with the same issues. Yet nothing said or nothing fixed then or look like it ever will be. Unless taking valuable time away from my personal life and hobby creating liveries all for something that is common knowledge, and has been sometime due to the length it’s been unanswered and left defective. Leaving feedback along with others seems to get no traction. Yet if I raise a ticket will the answer be if it doesn’t affect others they can’t fix it. Well I guess I have the evidence here on this thread to prove it’s not just myself unhappy with the state of this product in LD. More than one has left many comments. So why has the missing wheel issue not been fixed or other issues that may effect other users leaving feedback been evaluated or resolved. Can someone at least answer that, if I get my answer here then I know and we know where we stand as customers. Could save me the stress of more time wasting raising an email if others and I have publicly left feedback here. I thought the whole purpose of feedback was to give the devs feedback about the product so when raised could be visible and so acted upon. Again why after all this time and feedback has nothing been done?. Im not prepared to let this one slip DTG. I have work to do which is detailed work. Who’s going to use a livery if the model has no wheels!!!. I’m in Iimbo on what to do. So can you please please fix and at least explain what can or can’t be done. I wouldn’t be sticking my neck out if I didn’t care about this one. It’s so crucial to the S&DR200 fictional liveries but what’s the point if a user subbing gets a model with no wheels. Before I go tho I like to point out to any person that reads this comment thats it’s not one of anger or rage. The complete opposite actually, all I’d like to see happen is something that is common knowledge to be fixed. Having to raise a ticket is what’s frustrating about all this if the information is already to hand on a dedicated feedback thread. I’m kindly asking any DTG representative to help or provide some feedback to us. Your loyal customers. Thank you DTG and to anyone that cares about fixing things not fighting over things. I’m not here for that. I just want my wheels for this. It would look so nice with the white wall tyres. Please DTG, fix this one. Rigsby. ✌
Thank you. I have a few more in mind for celebrating Railway 200 and S&DR200. Sadly the issue is hindering any further progress at the moment, and why it so important DTG kindly consider getting this fixed asap. Opportunity like RW200, S&DR200 don’t come along often yet I’d like to enjoy the celebrations and share work with others that love art and design or creating (edit) liveries before it’s all over. The work you see is 90 percent complete, I did say I’d endeavour to find a resolution and continue. So I will release with the wheels missing for now then see what happens later on. ✌
