Would love to see this on TSW2. Edinburgh Waverley to Newcastle Central during the early years of the HSTs and final years of the Deltics You already have the HST and Mk3s. I believe a Deltic would be immensely popular.

Add more details for people who aren't quite in the know about the route.
Honestly I personally would rather a modern version of the Route with LNER Stock - Maybe a mix of IETs & HSTs - Scotrail Stock to Dunbar & North Berwick - 380 - and Northern Stock north of Newcastle. I'm not really a fan of the whole 'Northern = BR' narrative we have so far.

You should have HST and Deltics. DTG will take the shortcut on HST is that they're simply going to take the existing Great Western Mainline version and reskin it into the 1970s paint. At the cost of the wrong engine because Paxman Valenta engines are used on the 1970s to 2010s HST but 2010s to 2021 Either MTU or Paxman VP185.

This is a very good suggestion, and I think a class 55 would be very popular.

For those that don't want a Deltic Class 55 then the original HST with Paxman Valenta engines. That HST can layer onto Great Western Express Diesel Legends pack if the era was 1977-1987.

I would love to see this, although personally driving the Deltic in TS1 gives me a headache! In fact the class 31, 40, 45 and 47 could be successfully layered in as well. You would need some air conditioned mark 2 stock plus a mark 1 catering vehicle.

The class 101 would be suitable for local services around both Newcastle and Edinburgh but would reskinning in BR blue (so expect DTG to give us a NSE version).
