    What if DTG with this route adds new addition of Cambridge & King's lynn from King's Cross to Peterborough & Moorgate. With the Thameslink could also start at London St Pancras as another starting point. If brought into TSW3 would be an awesome route.

    Newcastle to Berwick upon Tweed would be a bit more interesting IMO. More curves (Morpeth curve) and variation in speed limits. Nice scenery at Alnmouth and the Royal Border Bridge at Berwick.
