I would love to see Exeter-Salisbury because it’s challenging start if you are at Exeter trying to get up a steep hill which I don’t know the grade up to Exeter Queen Street as it was known back then I believe then you have Exmouth junction then onto Pinhoe station I only know up to Pinhoe but I would like to see it come to TSW 2

    Steam locos
    Bullied West Country class
    West Country class
    And a Merchant Navy class

I believe it is 1 in 37, same as the Lickey only shorter in distance. To this day there are still special instructions relating to the operation of Down trains into St Davids from Central, the route has to be cleared all the way into the station to avoid having t come to a stand at the bottom of the hill.

Honiton bank is also quite formidable and again pretty much from a standing start in the Up direction.

I agree this would make a great steam route or indeed any era well at least up until the demise of loco hauled traffic.
