It's a train but smaller. City Tram would be an experiment but it could work. We could start this off by working with existing routes to keep things simple. The tram lines will need good scenery to make the experience enjoyable. A tram is also known as light rail. Like with locomotives old ones make more noise and more modern ones make less. So it's going to be intresting where it takes us. I personally prefer trams that are noisy.
We do have the San Francisco tramway already though... something more modern perhaps, or, like, a near ancient steam-powered tramway?
Steam powered trams are not optional right now as the development has not reached that point. Best try electric for the momment
A port of the entire or a portion of the San Francisco tramway is always a possibility, I'd imagine. Other than that, there are many moder tramways in American cities.
