Hello everyone, today I would like to propose to you the Extension of the S3 Munich Line in Hauptstrecke München-Ausburg. This suggestion will include an extension by extending the line to Munich east. Today, as you know, the line runs from Hackerbrücke to Mammendorf. The current travel time in the simulator is 37 minutes between Hackerbrücke and Mammendorf. With the extension of this dlc from Munich east to Mammendorf the running time is 47 minutes. This would also include an extension of the on-board LZB system which I believe has been successful up to the inter-station between Munich east and Rosenheimer Platz. Ostbahnhof would be a good comprimise; I suggested adding the whole "missing" bit of the S3, and also included parts of the S7, mainly because then we could also have freight runs from Ostbahnhof to Holzkirchen
Yes I'd like to see this. I think it'd be really cool to travel from the main concourse to the low level platforms on foot at Munich Hbf

Would love to see this extension. The Munich S3 line is easily my favorite S-Bahn line in TSW. Would love to have longer runs in the 423. It also makes perfect sense since the 423 has to turn around at Munich East to head towards Holzkirchen. Would also make S4 services longer. DTG could also make S1, S2, S6, and S8 services playable as they all run between there and Munich Laim.
Totally agree with you. And for me too it is my favorite route of any train sim World knowing that the Br 423 and my favorite rolling stock of the whole game. Moreover that we will soon have the Br 420 and by adding the services S1, S2, S6 and S8 would only be beneficial if we get this extension as you say. And the S4 also a little longer with more trains so more signals. Thank you for your insightful comment.
Those OBB locomotives run HMA Hauptstrecke Salzburg Munchen on HMA EN468 runs Munchen Ost 00:04 to Augsburg Hbf 00:45 Munchen Pasing to Augsburg Hbf playable every 00:10 trips is EN468/469. On this route these can possbily substitute DB BR420 423 S-Bahn Munchen versions by pulling a DB Doppelstockwagen 781 786 767.2 766.2.
