When you start a journey in TSW 2, you start almost at the exact time of departure. You only have a bit of time before you have to leave. This is not only unrealistic because trains spend a lot of time in the first station, but it also makes it impossible to fully start the cab.

For example on the Bakerloo line. When you start, you only have time to open and close the doors and then you have to leave instantly if you want to be on time in the next station. You can't go to the other end of the train to set the destination. Another example: On the Boston Sprinter, you don't have time to turn on the tail lights on the commuter trains because you have to depart almost instantly.

My suggestion is to start the journeys a bit before schedule so you have time to start up the cab, turn on the safety systems and maybe even have a little walk around the station. This would make the game less stressfull and at the same time more realistic.
