Is it just me, or is the alerter volume in the F125 cab too quiet through the TV (PS5).

Took this video to demonstrate, although oddly, the alerter seems louder in the video through my iPhone :|

Do you have external speakers? If the sound is normal through your phone but not your TV then it could be a speaker problem.

No, it’s just the normal TV speakers. I have an LG C2.

I wear headphones and can barely hear any of the alerters across all the routes in TSW4 and I'm on PC (Steam).

I’ve played with all the sound settings on my TV (LG C2) and the alerter on the F125 remains hard to hear on every setting. Don’t have a problem with the sound on any other game, TV Show or movie etc.

Thank you for raising this, I'll have our audio teams take a look and see if the alterer volume levels are what we'd expect.

Hi folks, sorry for the delayed response. I did the sound for the F125 and can confirm that in real life, it starts very quietly (as I suspect you're experiencing here), but gradually gets louder over 15 seconds. I've actually increased the volume a little from real life already, but because of how loud it is towards the end of the alert, it can't be pushed much further. Next time you're playing in the F125, if you let it ring out before acknowledging it, you should hear it get a good bit louder over time. Hopefully that helps! :)

I am running the Steam version of Train Sim World 4 on my Windows 11 PC. I listen to the game using headphones and never hear the alerter on the EMD F125. But if I don't occasionally "acknowledge" the alerter, the train will come to a stop. When that first happened, I didn't know what was happening. (I'm just a nubee.) Now that I know, it's just frustrating.

I have these audio settings configured, so I should be able to hear it, right? Or is my hearing just that bad at the frequency?

I thought I ought to return to say that I am hearing the alerter now. I'm unsure why I hadn't heard it before, though I have had ear problems lately. I guess sometimes my hearing has been worse than at other times.
